February 2020

88 MPH…this is a once-in-a-podcast opportunity, and we’re not going to waste it… so you (our beloved listeners) are squarely along for the ride! (see what we did there!?!)

BTTF references aside (and trust us – we love them), there’s right at 4 hours of podcasting goodness for you this month and we cover so many topics, we thought it best to just list them out for you straight away:

  1. Project tool storage
  2. IKEA furniture (another first for the show???)
  3. Ghostbusters pinball fixes
  4. More pinball art blades
  5. Vectrex and Atari presents from across the pond
  6. CRT and PVM/BVM masterclass (courtesy of Steve Nutter @ the Grand Ole Gameroom Expo 2019)
  7. Portable parts storage
  8. Cinematronics monitor gel reproductions
  9. The Arcade 1UP NBA Jam cabinet

October 2018

It’s been a loooong 31 days since the last episode and we’ve had plenty of time to practice our signature moves on spending Brent’s money, white-washing gameroom updates and making half-educated attempts at industry and hobby news coverage.  Should that stop us this month?  WE SAY NO!

So in our best declaration of determination and comeuppance, we return for the October show and unfortunately there’s nothing spooky about it – at all.  However, we do have everything that you’ve come to know and love with the show as well as the following major topics:

  1. Flashlights
  2. ColorDMD
  3. Flashlights
  4. New Pinball announcements
  5. Flashlights
  6. Stern code updates
  7. Flashlights
  8. Spend Brent’s Money
  9. Flashlights
  10. Flashlights (just to round it out).

Yep – it’s arcade and pinball podcasting, BT style (and with some Grace added in to keep the guys on task).

62: Sounds like Burl Ives!

December 2017

There’s no better way to wrap the year and send 2017 out with a bang than to wax nostalgic on why we sound absolutely NOTHING like the smooth tones of our favorite Christmas music poet from way back…Mr. Burl Ives.

TBH, we don’t really dig much into Burl Ives in this episode, but it did make for a couple good references and it is that time of year!  Instead, what you get for this last show is 2017 is a healthy heaping of reflection on the year, some current updates, some spending of the Brent’s money, some discussion on EEPROM programmers and some non-committal pinball talk about Guardians of the Galaxy and Total Nuclear Annihilation.  Oh yeah – that and we want to go see Star Wars: The Last Jedi – like really bad.

We thank everyone for their time in 2017 – we know you’ve got a choice in podcasts and we appreciate you continuing to spend your time with us!  We will try (like harder than we did this year) to continue the push above mediocrity for 2018 – onwards and upwards!!

January 2017

“Book ‘em Danno” – it’s the big ‘Five-O’ show!

There’s so much crammed into this month’s episode that we had to loosen the belt a bit and put on the stretchy pants, because I think we’ve hit an all-time high score when it comes to show length, commutes and long-distance runs…. seriously.

Episode 49–The Christmas Waggle

December 2016

It’s Christmas day and what better way to say “Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays” to everyone across the globe than to drop the December episode right on top of all your wrapping paper! Some might say the release of this month’s episode is well-timed, and others might consider it sheer coincidence.  Either way, we’re not saying, as it’s mostly luck and a bit of eggnog-fueled commitment when you look under the covers.

Cousin Eddie would be proud.

We catch up on a lot of happenings since last month, discuss our Christmas and Holiday plans and spend *WAY* too much time talking about the Atari Flashback portable, despite easily spending over $500 of Brent’s money this month on all kinds of sweet tools and arcade paraphernalia.

So do what we do – burn all that wrapping paper, grab a beer and chill out and let the Holidays surround you while we send 2016 out in style!
